Remsons Automotive has received a ₹80 crore purchase order from Ford Otosan to supply spare wheel winches, marking another milestone in its growing global business. The order was confirmed on Friday and strengthens the company’s position as a key supplier in the automotive components space.

A step-down subsidiary of Remsons Industries, Remsons Automotive also announced a new strategic partnership with AUSUS Automotive Systems do Brasil LTDA. The collaboration aims to serve original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in Brazil, further deepening the company’s presence in Latin America.

According to company officials, the partnership with AUSUS will help bring advanced automotive solutions to the Brazilian market and foster stronger ties with major carmakers in the region. AUSUS currently works with prominent players such as General Motors and Volkswagen.

This latest development follows a string of significant wins for the company. Earlier this year, Remsons signed a ₹300 crore, seven-year supply deal with Stellantis NV for components used in the Jeep Wrangler and RAM models. It also landed a ₹30 crore order from Tata Motors for spare wheel winch units.

Commenting on the new ventures, Director Rahul Kejriwal stated, “Our partnership with AUSUS is a major step in supporting Brazilian manufacturers and reinforcing our commitment to global growth through advanced technology.”

Over the past 15 months, Remsons has pursued aggressive expansion through multiple acquisitions. These include the takeover of UK-based BEE Lighting and Magal Cables, known for control cables and pedal systems, as well as Astro Motors, a domestic startup developing India’s first electric cargo vehicle with a geared system.

Remsons has also strengthened its international ties through joint ventures. It holds a 26% stake in Aircom Group, Poland, for tyre mobility products and has partnered with Turkey-based Daiichi to co-develop infotainment systems for brands such as Hyundai and Stellantis.

While rooted in the auto industry, the company has also branched out into railway and defence equipment. Its growing product portfolio includes lighting systems, sensors, and precision-engineered parts that are compatible across electric and traditional vehicle platforms.

With six R&D centres — four in India and two in the UK — and a presence in more than 20 export markets, Remsons plans major capacity upgrades over the next four years. The company reported ₹376.58 crore in revenue last fiscal and has set a target to reach ₹900–1,000 crore by FY2029.
