REGO-FIX the Swiss manufacturer of premium tool holding systems announced signing an agreement to acquire GEWITEC AG, another Swiss manufacturer based out of Kappelen, Canton of Berne.
In a recent media release, REGO-FIX AG informed that they had signed an agreement to acquire the majority equity interests of the Swiss-based manufacturer GEWITEC AG, a global supplier of standard precision parts for the tool and machine industry, as well as the provider of OEM solutions. The media release stated that this cooperation comes with many synergies.
Commenting on the merger, Richard Weber, CEO of REGO-FIX AG commented that GEWITEC is a great fit for the REGO-FIX Group. He said, “Working with GEWITEC offers large opportunities and synergies between the two companies, which share the same core values in terms of quality, customer service and Swiss-made orientation."

"The merger with REGO-FIX is an important step in our company history", said Michel Stegmann, CEO of GEWITE. He told that they look forward to increasing their international market presence with the merger with REGO-FIX. The core values and identity of GEWITEC will be retained and will continue as part of the REGO-FIX group, the release stated.
The GEWITEC management as well as its brands will continue to operate as the same post-merger. "The product portfolios of the two companies complement each other perfectly and our customers benefit from a broader range of products”, added Michel Stegman.
