Red Lion, a company specializing in industrial technology solutions, has introduced the N-Tron® NT116 unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch. This new switch is designed to deliver reliable performance in challenging industrial settings, supporting critical operations in harsh conditions.
The NT116 features 16 high-performance copper ports (10/100BaseTX RJ45) in a compact, rugged metal enclosure. It offers robust protection against shock, vibration, ESD, and surges, with an exceptional 1.2 million hours MTBF rating. Operating temperatures range from -40°C to 85°C, ensuring reliability in extreme environments.
Key features include support for up to 3.2 Gb/s throughput with full wire speed communication, store-and-forward technology, and compatibility with full and half duplex operations. Redundancy is enhanced with dual 10-49 VDC power inputs.
Certified for IEEE 802.3 compliance, as well as marine, railway, and rolling stock standards, the NT116 also holds UL Ordinary and Hazardous locations, ATEX, and IECEx certifications.
