Bondada Group, a prominent infrastructure solutions provider with operations across Telecom, Solar, Railways, and Sustainable Construction, has named Rear Admiral R Sreenivas, VSM (Retd), as its new Group Chief Executive Officer. Rear Admiral Sreenivas brings a rich background of over 35 years, combining leadership roles in the Indian Navy with corporate experience.
A decorated officer and recipient of the Vishisht Seva Medal, he has held key responsibilities in operations, administration, project execution, and defence procurement. During his naval tenure, he led major ship and submarine refit programs and was instrumental in transforming the naval ship repair yard at Sri Vijaya Puram into the top-performing unit among its peers.
His role in executing defence acquisition projects worth more than ₹1.8 lakh crore and contributing to the formulation of the Defence Acquisition Procedure 2020 underscores his expertise in complex, high-value initiatives. Since retiring in 2022, he has continued to contribute in advisory capacities, offering strategic insights to the Ministry of Defence, Hindustan Shipyard Ltd., and L&T’s Precision Engineering Systems Division.
