Rappid Valves (India) Limited a leading manufacturer of precision-engineered industrial and marine valves, has secured new orders worth ₹29.86 crore from key participants in India’s defence and naval ecosystem. The contracts further strengthen the company’s growing presence in the country’s shipbuilding and maritime defence sectors and underscore its capabilities in supplying critical components for strategic naval programmes.
The newly awarded contracts cover the supply of mission-critical valve systems and associated components for multiple Indian Navy projects. These systems play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, safety and operational efficiency of naval platforms operating in demanding maritime environments.
Among the major orders received is a contract valued at ₹18.06 crore from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for the supply of valve systems across five shipsets. Under the terms of the order, three shipsets are scheduled for delivery within the next twelve months, while the remaining two shipsets are expected to be completed by the end of the 2027-28 financial year.
In addition, the company has secured orders worth ₹8.55 crore from Shree Refrigerations Limited and ₹3.25 crore from Müller-BBM Acoustic Technology Pvt Ltd for the Indian Navy’s Fleet Support Ship (FSS) programme. The Fleet Support Ship initiative is a significant component of India’s naval modernization efforts and is aimed at enhancing operational endurance and logistical capabilities for naval fleets.
