Ramky Infrastructure Limited has secured a ₹215.08 crore contract from the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB). The contract involves the operation, maintenance, and management of sewage treatment plants (STPs) along with the interception and diversion systems under HMWSSB’s jurisdiction for a duration of five years.
The company clarified that the project does not involve any related party transactions and falls under domestic contract regulations as per SEBI’s (LODR) 2015 guidelines. This contract, valued at ₹215.08 crore (excluding taxes), enhances Ramky’s position in the water and wastewater management sector.
In a separate development, both the NSE and BSE issued warning letters to Ramky Infrastructure regarding non-compliance with regulations concerning the scheduling of risk management committee meetings. The company had missed the 180-day gap requirement between meetings, holding its last two meetings on August 10, 2023, and February 12, 2024. On the stock market, shares of Ramky Infrastructure Ltd closed at ₹601.10 on the BSE, a 0.17% increase, while the stock ended lower on the NSE.
