The Schmersal Group has announced the appointment of Ramji Singh as the new Managing Director of Schmersal India Private Limited, effective immediately. Ramji Singh will replace Sagar Bhosale, who is stepping down for personal reasons after a successful tenure.
Ramji Singh brings over two decades of leadership experience in the automation industry, having held senior management roles at prominent international firms. He joined Schmersal India in 2015 as an Associate Vice President and was later promoted to Vice President of Sales and marketing in 2018. His extensive industry knowledge and deep understanding of Schmersal’s operations uniquely position him to lead the company toward continued success.
“Ramji Singh is the leader Schmersal India needs now,” said Uwe Seeger, Director of Asia-Pacific & Middle East at Schmersal Group. “His vast industry experience and clear vision for the company’s future make him an ideal fit for this role.”
Expressing his gratitude for the opportunity, Ramji Singh stated, “It is an honour to take over the management of Schmersal India and continue on its successful course. Schmersal India has become a rapidly growing hub for innovative product development within the Schmersal Group, particularly in areas such as IIOT-enabled safety switches, complete IIOT solutions, energy monitoring systems, and the digital LOTO app. These solutions, developed in collaboration with our global IT and technology center SGCC in India, are paving the way for a more connected and efficient future.”
Looking ahead, Mr Singh sees maintaining Schmersal India’s influential position in the market as one of the primary challenges. “The competitive landscape is growing increasingly complex, but with our comprehensive portfolio of products, services, and solutions, Schmersal is well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of our customers,” he added.
Founded in 1945, Schmersal is a global leader in safety technology with a comprehensive range of safety switchgear products.
