Unfortunate for the Machine Tools industry, Rakesh Parakhe, Regional Manager Sales of Maharastra & Goa Region of Dormer Pramet India & Miranda Tools succumbed to COVID19 this week. His entire family got infected with COVID19 excluding his father Shri. Machindra Parakhe, and was able to survive the pandemic. Unfortunately for Rakesh, he was fighting the infection for more than two weeks, was admitted to ICU and on a ventilator for the last 12 days, before he passed away.
For the last one-decade Rakesh Parakhe was working with Dormer Pramet India, and taking care of the management of channel sales, receivables, P & L, strategic planning & business development, technical support, and training and development. Many industry colleagues of Shri. Parekh remembered his valuable contribution to the industry and extended their deep condolence to the bereaved family.
Rakesh Parakhe is survived by his father Machindra Parakhe, wife Gauri Parakhe, and two children, son Rishikesh Parakhe and daughter Shubra Parakhe. A Master of Business Studies (MBS) focused in Marketing from the Institute Of Management and Career Development, Pune University, Rakesh Parakhe’s loss is huge for his family as well as for the Indian Machine Tools industry.
