RailTel Corporation of India has been awarded a significant work order by the State Project Director (SPD) of the Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC). According to the public sector undertaking (PSU), the contract is valued at Rs 1.30 crore, inclusive of taxes.
This achievement follows another notable contract secured by the company, totaling over ₹113.46 crore, from the Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC). In March, RailTel had announced the receipt of a work order from the State Transport Authority for the enhancement of the existing Command Control Centre to a Unified Command Control Centre.
Furthermore, the organization will undertake the implementation of the Intelligent Enforcement Management System (IEMS) on behalf of the State Transport Authority in Odisha, ensuring its effective operation and integration within the existing transport framework.
This initiative represents a strategic step towards strengthening enforcement capacities and regulatory frameworks, consequently enhancing the efficiency and adherence to regulations in Odisha’s transportation sector.
