Qualcomm and MapmyIndia Collaborate on ‘Make in India’ Automotive Solutions

Qualcomm Technologies and MapmyIndia have announced a strategic partnership to promote the ‘Make in India’ initiative in the automotive industry. By combining Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Digital Chassis solutions with MapmyIndia’s expertise, the collaboration aims to deliver innovative automotive connectivity and connected services for both four-wheelers (4W) and two-wheelers (2W) in India, as well as for global automakers.

MapmyIndia will leverage Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Auto Connectivity Platform to create telematics solutions that are specifically designed for the needs of Indian automotive manufacturers. These solutions will enable OEMs to provide high-quality, affordable connectivity options for mid-range and entry-level vehicles, with a focus on safety and convenience for the mass market.

Additionally, MapmyIndia will integrate Snapdragon Car-to-Cloud Services with its MAPPLS automotive offerings to build a software-defined vehicle ecosystem, providing device and cloud services for two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and commercial vehicles using Snapdragon Digital Chassis solutions.
