Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer PURE EV has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with JioThings Limited, a subsidiary of Jio Platforms Limited, to integrate smart digital clusters and telematics technology into PURE EV’s electric vehicles. This collaboration aims to enhance the riding experience through IoT-enabled solutions, offering real-time performance monitoring, data analytics, and digital connectivity.
As part of the partnership, PURE EV will incorporate JioThings’ 4G Smart Digital Cluster, powered by AvniOS (based on Android Open Source Project), into its electric scooters and motorcycles. This system enables customizable interfaces, touchscreen compatibility, and seamless IoT integration. Additionally, PURE EV vehicles will feature the Jio Automotive App Suite (JAAS), allowing riders access to music streaming, navigation, web browsing, voice assistance, and gaming applications. These advancements aim to provide a more interactive and efficient electric mobility experience.
