Prozeal Green Energy Pvt. Ltd., a leader in green energy solutions in India, has secured a significant contract from the Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd. (SECI). The project, valued at Rs. 313 crore, involves the design, engineering, and construction of a 25 MW (AC) solar PV power plant (50 MWp) paired with a 20 MW/50 MWh battery energy storage system at Taru, Leh.

This achievement highlights Prozeal’s expertise in implementing renewable energy projects in challenging terrains like Leh, where the integration of solar power and battery storage is vital for grid reliability. The project will provide a power backup of 2.5 hours, with the battery storage system charging during the day from the solar plant and supplying power during peak demand periods.

Shobit Rai, Managing Director of Prozeal Green Energy, expressed pride in being chosen for the project, stating, “This award reflects our ability to deliver cutting-edge and sustainable energy solutions.” Manan Thakkar, also Managing Director, added, “This initiative will not only generate clean energy but also ensure a stable power supply for the region, contributing to India’s renewable energy goals.”

Prozeal Green Energy continues to expand its green energy portfolio, with ongoing projects in Nepal, Bhutan, and Portugal. The company recently completed Nepal’s largest rooftop solar installation of 9.2 MWp for Reliance Spinning Mills and is partnering with the Golyan Group to establish over 500 MW of solar power in Nepal.

With over 2 GW of installed capacity and more than 300 clients across various sectors, Prozeal Green Energy is at the forefront of decarbonizing the global energy landscape, delivering cost-effective and sustainable energy solutions that drive a greener future.
