On the launch eve of MACHINE MAKER print edition at Bengaluru on 25th July 2018, Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship President Prof J Philip presented MACHINE MAKER OF THE YEAR 2018 Award to Shri. Philip Samuel, Chairman and Managing Director of Indfrag Biosciences Private Limited for his excellent services to the Indian and Global Manufacturing industry. Mr. Samuel was also featured in the inaugural cover edition of MACHINE MAKER – a magazine essaying the incredible stories of Indian Manufacturing.
The first edition of the Machine Maker in the print platform was launched by Karnataka Chief Minister Shri H D Kumaraswamy in the presence Deputy Chief Minister Dr. G Parameshwara in Bangalore. Post the unveiling of the magazine, a launch event was organized at Indfrag Theater, where people from diversified industries got together to compliment the Machine Maker Team and felicitate industry leaders who made their mark in the Indian Manufacturing. Harish Pant, Managing Director of Hampson Industries Pvt Ltd chaired the event where Prof J Philip the President of Xavier Institute of Management Entrepreneurship was the Chief Guest. Ms. Richa Kar, Founder of Zivame were the Guest of Honor.
Manoj Kabre, Vice President of Indo US MIMTEC and Member EAB Machine Maker gave the welcome speech followed by a presentation about MACHINE MAKER by Publisher and Managing Editor Hari Shanker. In his speech, the Chief Guest pointed out the importance of innovating in India. Apart from Philip Samuel, Meetali Mukherjee, Managing Director, Hydax Hydraulics and Chandrakala Ponnada, Assistant Manager Projects, Elmeasure India were felicitated for their contributions to the industry.
The mission of Machine Maker is to bring out the unheard tales of Indian Manufacturing Industry- be it a successful entrepreneur or be it a shop floor machine operator.
