Pritika Engineering Components Ltd (PECL) announced the acquisition of an 87,000 square feet plot in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, as part of its efforts to boost production capacity. This move, expected to conclude by October 2024, aims to support the company’s expansion into new sectors, according to a statement from the company.
The expansion will involve a capital investment of Rs 49.50 crore, which will be funded through a planned capital raise. To support this growth, PECL has also raised its authorized share capital from Rs 20 crore to Rs 25 crore.
PECL is exploring new opportunities in the railway and defense sectors as part of its growth strategy. “This land acquisition is a major milestone for us, enhancing our manufacturing capabilities and positioning us to tap into new market opportunities,” said Managing Director Harpreet Singh Nibber.
In the financial year 2024, PECL reported total revenue of Rs 87.67 crore, an EBITDA of Rs 11.92 crore, and a net profit (PAT) of Rs 3.67 crore. The company manufactures a wide range of components, including rear axle housing castings, machined front axle supports, and machined lift housings, serving key OEMs in the tractor and automotive industries, such as Escorts Kubota, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Ashok Leyland.
