PrintExpo Chennai and MediaExpo Chennai Create Major Impact in South India

The combined PrintExpo Chennai and MediaExpo Chennai events set a new benchmark for industry exhibitions, attracting 16,089 visitors from 262 cities across India, 27 states and union territories, and 22 countries. The event turned Chennai into a major hub for showcasing the latest in printing, signage, and branding solutions, with 185 exhibitors filling the exhibition floor with live demonstrations and networking opportunities.

The 15th edition of PrintExpo Chennai continued to highlight advancements in commercial printing and packaging technologies, while MediaExpo Chennai made its debut, unveiling cutting-edge digital signage systems, LED innovations, digital displays, and more. The strategic pairing of these two events offered attendees a well-rounded experience of the industries at the forefront of printing and digital marketing. The atmosphere was full of energy, and feedback from both visitors and exhibitors confirmed the success of the event.

Uma Maheshwari, First Employee at Heutetrend Pvt Ltd, noted, “It felt like being in Mumbai or New Delhi, not Chennai. The synergy between MediaExpo and PrintExpo was fantastic, and we’ve gained so much valuable insight.” Her colleague, Mr Kumar, added, “We came to explore unique branding products for industries and corporates, and we’ve already made purchases and are expecting to close more business.”

Vaidhya Nathan, a frequent attendee from Speed Xerox, shared, “Each year, this event gives us new technologies and industry information that help us grow our business. The contacts we make here are invaluable.”

Local visitors also highlighted the event’s importance. One attendee from Chennai said, “It’s the perfect place to find new machines and spare parts for both offset and digital printing. It’s a must-visit for anyone in the printing business, especially those looking to transition into digital printing.”

Industry leaders also echoed the event’s value. Arjun Khosla, Associate Director at Xerox India Ltd, commented, “We’ve been part of PrintExpo since the very beginning. The response has always been exceptional, and we look forward to returning next year.”

Among the exhibitors, Minosha Print Solutions saw strong sales, with Head of Sales Prasanna Rajagopalan saying, “This event continues to draw visitors from all over South India, and even North India. We’ve sold over 10 machines and received great interest from the crowd.”

Komori India’s Regional Sales Manager, Chakrapani Vemula, shared, “Our display has received a great response, particularly from Tamil Nadu and the surrounding states.” Exhibitors in digital and advanced printing technologies also reported strong interest. Dilip Hariramani, owner of Simmac, presented a new roll-to-roll printing machine compatible with non-woven fabrics, saying, “We’ve had a fantastic response, and visitors are eager to make purchases.”

Pinnacle Technologies, known for their cutting-edge machinery, also enjoyed strong feedback. Murlidhar Rao, Business Manager at Pinnacle, remarked, “We’ve had excellent interactions with visitors, many of whom are offering valuable suggestions to improve our offerings.”

The event’s focus on digital solutions and technological innovations was a key takeaway for many. Rajesh Choudhary, Director of Ninth Avenue Industries Pvt Ltd, commented, “This is our first time at MediaExpo in Chennai, and we’ve been impressed by the turnout. The exhibition is expansive, and the location makes it accessible to a large audience from across South India.” Mimaki India’s Managing Director, Kenichiro Seiki, said, “Having PrintExpo and MediaExpo together has worked wonderfully for us. We’ve received numerous inquiries and are thrilled with the event’s success.”

First-time exhibitors like Thandora, led by Sri Vignesh I, also saw strong results. “Our target market is from Tamil Nadu and South India, and the response here has been fantastic. We’ve already secured a few new dealers, and we’re excited for the future,” he shared.

Exhibitors remained optimistic about the event’s long-term impact, with many highlighting the importance of networking and the evolving market for digital solutions. The event was jointly organized by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd and Showcase Trade Fairs and Business Media Pvt Ltd for PrintExpo, and Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd for MediaExpo Chennai. The next edition of the co-located PrintExpo Chennai and MediaExpo Chennai will take place from 9th to 11th July 2026 at the Chennai Trade Centre, Tamil Nadu.
