Premier Energies Ltd. announced on Friday, February 14, that it has secured an order worth ₹1,234 crore to supply solar photovoltaic (PV) modules. The contract, awarded to its subsidiary, Premier Energies Photovoltaic, involves fulfilling orders from existing customers.
The supply of solar modules is scheduled to begin in April 2025. Premier Energies, a leading manufacturer of solar PV cells and modules, specializes in customized solutions tailored for specific applications.
The company reported a remarkable financial performance in Q3 FY25, with consolidated net profit surging 490.51% to ₹255.22 crore, compared to ₹43.22 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. Revenue from operations also saw a significant 140.47% year-on-year (YoY) growth, reaching ₹1,713.32 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024.
Looking ahead, Premier Energies plans to expand its solar cell and module production capacity from the current 2GW and 3GW to 7GW and 8GW, respectively, over the next two years. This expansion is expected to drive earnings growth at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 90% from FY24 to FY27. The company’s product portfolio includes solar cells, monofacial and bifacial solar modules, as well as EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and O&M (Operations and Maintenance) solutions.
