The third edition of the Pune Machine Tools Show PMTX and the first edition of Factory Equipment Expo (FACTEQ) being organized by the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) have been rescheduled due to inclement weather conditions. The expo which was originally planned to be held from 23 – 26 May 2024 at the Pune International Exhibition and Convention Center, Moshi, Pune, will now be held from 25 – 28 May 2024 at the same venue.

The expo is expected to see a substantial turnout, featuring around 230 exhibitors, marking more than 100 percent growth compared to earlier editions which is commendable.  PMTX 2024 and FACTEQ will serve as a comprehensive platform for trade and knowledge sharing. Whereas PMTX exhibitors will showcase developments in both metal cutting and metal forming, exhibitors at FACTEQ will display energy-saving products, logistics, equipment, maintenance and safety products, and various other solutions needed for factories.

The B2B expo will draw industry delegations from diverse sectors such as automobiles, auto components, aerospace, general engineering, and capital goods, among others, solidifying its status as a pivotal show for the regional manufacturing industries.  IMTMA assures that despite the unforeseen weather conditions, the expo will be held seamlessly and will continue to be a key expo for industry professionals and businesses in the machining world.

IMTMA formed in 1946 is the apex body and single point of contact for the machine tool industry in India. IMTMA plays an active role in the growth and development of the machine tool industry in India through a wide range of initiatives such as policy advocacy, export promotion, trade fairs, mega events, training, seminars, technology missions, publications, etc.
