Pratt & Whitney, a major US aerospace company, has opened a new Customer Service Centre (CSS) in Bengaluru. This centre is part of their India Capability Centre and will support over 68,000 engines globally.
The CSS will provide various services such as maintenance, spare parts management, engine leasing, reliability analysis, and contract administration. It will be located with Pratt & Whitney’s other operations in India, like supply chain, engineering, and digital transformation centres.
The new facility will employ over 150 aerospace experts and engineers, supporting clients like airlines, manufacturers, maintenance companies, and regulatory bodies. Nivine Kallab, Vice President of Customer Programs at Pratt & Whitney Canada, said the centre leverages investments in India and uses local talent to improve service and reliability.
Sandeep Sharma, Director of Capability Center at Pratt & Whitney, stated that the company has invested over $40 million in India and expanded its team to over 600 employees in the last three years. This new CSS aims to enhance their global service and operational excellence.
