Power Mech Projects Wins ₹371 Crore Contract from Adani Power’s Mahan Energen

Power Mech Projects announced on Thursday that it has secured a ₹370.84 crore contract from Mahan Energen, a subsidiary of Adani Power, to carry out civil works at the Mahan Phase-III project in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. Mahan Energen, formerly known as Essar Power M P Ltd, has tasked Power Mech with a comprehensive scope of work.

This includes civil works and the installation of prefabricated structural steel for BTG (boiler turbine generator) units 1 and 2, the main powerhouse, central control building, electrostatic precipitator (ESP), flue gas desulfurization (FGD) system, limestone handling system, switchyard, and other associated works for the 2 x 800 MW Mahan Phase-III plant.

“We are thrilled to announce the acquisition of this ₹370.84 crore contract (excluding GST and BOCW Cess) from Mahan Energen Ltd, a key part of Adani Power Ltd, for the execution of civil works,” the company stated in a regulatory filing. The project is expected to be completed within 30 months from the notice to proceed.
