Power & Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited (BSE: 543912 | NSE: PIGL), a key player in India’s power infrastructure space, has secured a fresh contract valued at ₹68.22 crore from Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (AVVNL) under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) led by the Government of India.

Power & Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited (PIGL) has secured a new turnkey contract valued at ₹68.22 crore from Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (AVVNL) for power infrastructure development in the Dungarpur Circle of Rajasthan. The project, awarded under the Government of India’s Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), covers the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical materials and equipment. Its primary objective is to enhance the reliability and efficiency of the local power distribution network through feeder segregation and system strengthening. The project is scheduled for completion within 15 months.

This latest award marks PIGL’s second consecutive contract from AVVNL under the RDSS framework, following a ₹70.55 crore project received in August 2025. The back-to-back wins highlight the company’s proven ability to execute complex electrical infrastructure projects across varied geographical and operational conditions. The recognition also underscores AVVNL’s continued confidence in PIGL’s engineering expertise and project management capabilities.

Commenting on the achievement, Padmaraj Padmanabhan Pillai, Managing Director of PIGL, said, “Receiving another large-scale assignment from AVVNL reaffirms our client’s trust in our technical excellence and delivery capabilities. These projects play a vital role in advancing the nation’s power distribution modernization goals and ensuring uninterrupted energy access. We are fully committed to achieving every milestone with precision, quality, and on-time completion.”
