Pokarna Engineered Stone Limited (PESL) has revealed plans to invest ₹440 crore in expanding its manufacturing operations at its advanced plant in Mekaguda, Telangana. The expansion will include the addition of a third Bretonstone production line from Italian manufacturer Breton S.p.A., setting a new standard in production capacity and sustainable practices.
Gautam Chand Jain, Chairman and Managing Director of PESL, emphasized the strategic nature of the expansion, saying, “This investment is not just about growing our capacity, but about advancing with purpose. It allows us to lead in sustainable innovation, producing premium surfaces that reflect our commitment to quality and environmental care.”
The new production line, expected to be operational by March 2026, will enable PESL to meet increasing demand for innovative products while reinforcing its focus on sustainability and excellence. The company also reported a strong financial performance for the quarter ending September 30, with a 54% increase in profit after tax, reaching ₹78 crore, and a 24.5% rise in revenue to ₹451 crore.
