Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 14,000 projects in Uttar Pradesh, valued at over ₹10 trillion. These projects, unveiled at the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit in Lucknow, cover a wide range of sectors such as manufacturing, renewable energy, IT & ITeS, food processing, housing, real estate, hospitality, entertainment, and education.

In his speech in Lucknow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a vision of progress, highlighting that this initiative represents a significant step towards building a prosperous Uttar Pradesh, which he sees as a key foundation for a developed India, and is aimed at reshaping the state’s landscape.

Modi highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s rising potential as a tourism hub, underscoring the increasing appeal of Varanasi and Ayodhya as top destinations attracting numerous visitors. He mentioned that this tourism boom will create vast opportunities for local businesses, airlines, and the hospitality sector in the state.

The PM also stressed the improved connectivity of Uttar Pradesh, both locally and internationally, and mentioned the inauguration of the world’s longest river cruise from Varanasi. He expressed that the upcoming Kumbh Mela in 2025 will be a significant event, boosting the state’s economy and creating numerous job opportunities in the tourism and hospitality sectors.

Speaking to food processing entrepreneurs, Modi emphasized the importance of the “zero effect, zero defect” philosophy, urging everyone to work together to position Indian food products on tables worldwide. He highlighted the increasing popularity of millets as a superfood and encouraged investment in this sector, promoting collaborations between entrepreneurs and farmers.

He emphasized the support for small-scale farmers through Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and cooperative societies, envisioning a future where agricultural progress aligns with business expansion. The prime minister also emphasized that what benefits farmers and agriculture is ultimately good for their businesses as well.

Prime Minister Modi also highlighted the significant role of Uttar Pradesh in India’s rural and agricultural sectors, urging all stakeholders to capitalize on the current opportunities. Showing faith in the state’s residents and the collaborative efforts of the government, he envisioned a strong basis for overall development.
