Plumage Solutions Private Limited and Shenzhen Huntkey Electric Co, Ltd have entered into a strategic partnership to develop, localise, manufacture, market and commercialise power products in India. The partnership will focus on manufacturing power adapters, power supplies, chargers and other power conversion and charging products, with an initial focus on the IT hardware segment. The products will serve customers in India as well as international markets.
Manufacturing under the partnership is scheduled to begin in October 2026 in Puducherry, with an initial annual production capacity of 1 million units. The companies plan to gradually increase production and expand the range of products manufactured in India.
The collaboration brings together Huntkey’s product portfolio, technology and engineering capabilities with Plumage’s manufacturing infrastructure and knowledge of India’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem. The companies aim to develop India as a competitive manufacturing and sourcing base for global OEM customers looking for reliable power product solutions.
A major focus of the partnership will be the gradual localisation of the supply chain in India. This will include product customisation, engineering development and increased use of locally sourced components. The companies will also work on a long-term roadmap to expand both the product portfolio and manufacturing scale.
The products will be progressively localised in line with applicable Make in India initiatives and the requirements of PLI Scheme 2.0 for IT Hardware. The localisation programme is expected to cover components and sub-assemblies such as chassis, EMI shielding components, PCBAs and other eligible parts.

Founded in 2015 by industry veterans, the company manufactures products including computer monitors, All-in-One PCs, notebooks and power adapters.
