The first-ever Plastics Recycling Show India (PRSI) 2024 and UTECH India – Sustainable Polyurethane and Foam Expo (ISPUF) 2024, organized by Crain Communications and Media Fusion, concluded in December with remarkable achievements. These events set new industry benchmarks in sustainability, recycling, and material innovation, bringing together leaders, policymakers, and innovators to drive impactful discussions and showcase next-generation solutions.
PRSI 2024 drew over 6,000 visitors, exploring cutting-edge advancements in plastic recycling, sustainable materials, and waste management solutions presented by 120+ exhibitors. The conference sessions focused on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), emerging recycling technologies, waste segregation strategies, and evolving regulatory frameworks. The Plastics Recycling Awards India recognized outstanding contributions to sustainability, with winners including Ganesha Ecosphere Ltd., Pashupati Group, DOMO Engineering Plastics India, Ishitva Robotic Systems, and Banyan Nation.
Meanwhile, ISPUF 2024, alongside the Sleep Expo India Pavilion, provided a dynamic platform for the polyurethane and foam industry. The event welcomed 2,700+ visitors and featured 50 exhibitors showcasing groundbreaking innovations in polyurethane and foam materials. The knowledge-driven conference included 18 expert speakers, covering key topics such as sustainable PU applications, advanced manufacturing techniques, mattress production, and industry regulations.
