Pilz India Private Limited, a 100 percent subsidiary of Pilz GmbH & Co KG celebrated its 10th year anniversary on November 26. Locally headquartered at Pune, Pilz India is operating with the objective of automating plants and machinery assuring the safety of humans, machines and the environment
Pilz India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Pilz GmbH & Co KG, completed 10 years of operations in in India November 2021. The event was marked by the presence of Pilz India’s customers and associates.
Among the dignitaries present at the event were Dr Juergen Morhard, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mumbai and Rajesh Nath, Managing Director, VDMA India. Susanne Kunschert, Managing Partner of Pilz GmbH & Co KG graced the event virtually.
Talking at the event, Sanjay Kulkarni, Managing Director, Pilz India Pvt Ltd took the audience through the company’s journey since 2011. He also talked about the growth of Pilz India as a brand in India and creating a suitable market for safety across all the industry segments.
Mr Kulkarni said that it is important to focus on digitalization, and security with the convergence of IoT while moving towards the future. He added that while moving ahead we should create awareness on Indian standards and expand Pilz India footprint to support the customers locally and internationally.
The event concluded with an exciting panel discussion between the Pilz India team and VDMA India, moderated by Rajesh Nath. The discussion revolved around Pilz India’s slogan ‘The Spirit of Safety’.
