Phillips Machine Tools Asia, the authorised distributor of Haas CNC machine tools across the region, has launched the Haas UMC Masters Club, an exclusive customer community for owners of Haas Universal Machining Center (UMC) Series machines. The initiative has been introduced to recognise customers who have invested in advanced 5-axis machining technology while providing them with specialised technical support, training and value-added engagement throughout the lifecycle of their machines.

Membership in the Haas UMC Masters Club is extended automatically to customers who have purchased Haas UMC Series machines through Phillips Machine Tools Asia. The programme has been designed to strengthen customer engagement by combining technical knowledge sharing, operational support and exclusive benefits that help manufacturers maximise the productivity and performance of their machining centres.

The club was inaugurated by Gaurav Luthra, Technical Director of Auxein Medical, one of Asia’s largest users of Haas UMC machines. Phillips Machine Tools Asia has also named him the official Brand Ambassador of the Haas UMC Masters Club in recognition of his extensive experience in precision manufacturing and his contribution to promoting advanced 5-axis machining technologies.

Commenting on the launch, Rupesh Ranjan, Director – Sales, Phillips Machine Tools, said, “The Haas UMC Masters Club has been created for manufacturers who have made a significant commitment to advanced machining capabilities. Our objective is to support them beyond machine installation by providing continuous technical guidance, specialised training and a platform where users can exchange knowledge and best practices. We are pleased to have Gaurav Luthra lead this initiative as Brand Ambassador, given his exceptional experience with Haas UMC technology.”

The Haas UMC Series is widely used by manufacturers serving sectors such as aerospace, defence, automotive and medical devices, where precision, repeatability and complex multi-axis machining are essential. The new community has been structured around three key pillars—exclusive member benefits, continuous technical learning and long-term asset optimisation.

Members will receive access to preferential commercial benefits, including service support, maintenance assistance, referral programmes and priority participation in technical events. They will also benefit from complimentary training programmes conducted by Haas Factory Outlet specialists, along with machine optimisation consultations aimed at improving machining efficiency, reducing production cycle times and enhancing operational performance. The club follows a tiered membership model comprising Gold, Silver and Bronze categories, with benefits aligned to customer engagement and investment levels.

With the launch of the Haas UMC Masters Club, Phillips Machine Tools Asia aims to build a stronger ecosystem around advanced manufacturing by enabling customers to enhance productivity, improve machining expertise and maximise returns from their investment in 5-axis technology while fostering a collaborative community of precision engineering professionals across the region.
