There is a space for fresh ideas and hybrid concepts where the lines between the actual and digital worlds are blurred: With this in mind, Pepperl+Fuchs’ automation experts are merging their exhibit at the SPS trade exhibition in Nuremberg for the first time with the company’s free “Digital Expo” digital exposition. Under the tagline “Your Future Automation,” the project’s goal is to create synergy between the advantages of analogue and digital communication, and to transform both events into a holistic hybrid experience for visitors.
Pepperl+Fuchs is utilising the virtual, browser-based 3-D environment Digital Expo for new, thorough exhibits on its manufacturing and process automation products and solutions. Simultaneously, these 3-D models will be shown in adapted form on digital “touch tables” at the SPS trade exhibition in Nuremberg, augmented by a few selected typical trade fair exhibits.
Visitors can speak directly with Pepperl+Fuchs professionals about the digital exhibit. They can re-engage with the products they see at the SPS at the virtual Digital Expo if they choose after visiting the SPS. Additional digital information, such as brochures or 3-D animations, will be available at the Digital Expo.
Pepperl+Fuchs will highlight three primary automation technology focus points at both events. There will be information in both German and English:
