Pavna Industries Ltd, has announced the acquisition of a 4,335 square meter industrial land parcel in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. This land will be the site for a new greenfield plant, aimed at meeting the increasing demand for die cast components and reducing operating costs.
“This acquisition signifies our move to our own premises in Uttarakhand, transitioning from our current rented facility. The plant, which will be nestled within Pantnagar’s thriving industrial ecosystem, will enable us to provide superior service, particularly to Bajaj Auto, and aligns with our long-term goal of offering better prices to our customers,” said Swapnil Jain, Managing Director of Pavna Industries Ltd.
Pantnagar has become a significant hub for the automotive industry, and Pavna Industries plans to capitalize on this by attracting business from various original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the region. The strategic location will enhance the company’s ability to serve its clients efficiently and expand its market reach.
Earlier this year, Pavna Industries secured a substantial order from Ola Electric for the supply of ignition switches and latches, and successfully launched its products in Bangladesh. The company operates nine facilities across three locations—Aligarh, Aurangabad, and Pantnagar—and boasts a robust distribution network spread across 17 states.
The new factory in Pantnagar will not only boost Pavna Industries’ production capabilities but also contribute to the local economy by creating job opportunities and fostering industrial growth in the region.
