PackVision Expo, the first-ever packaging technology trade show of Pune, is set to make its debut on May 10-12, 2024, at the Autocluster Exhibition Centre in Chinchwad MIDC. Pune, known as the heart of industries, offers a strategic location for this event, given its prominence in major sectors like food processing, automobiles, pharma, and biotechnology. Organized by Future Market Events, the expo distinguishes itself by venturing into a new market and collaborating with leading trade bodies, including the Packaging Industry Association of India (PIAI), Western India Corrugated Box Manufacturers Association (WICMA), PrintWeek, and WhatPackaging magazines, serving as strategic partners.

Future Market Events (FME) is a specialized trade fair organization that provides valuable opportunities for individuals, communities, and companies to engage in business, explore emerging trends, and connect face-to-face. FME combines the power of face-to-face events with data and digital products to deliver meaningful results for its customers. Jasmine Chopra, Project Director at Future Market Events, expressed the commitment to bringing new prospects and buyers from Maharashtra and Gujarat, in addition to catering to a pan-India audience. She emphasized that exhibitors would have a prime opportunity to connect with new prospects and expand their business in the region.

Chandrakant Salunkhe, Founder of PIAI, shared insights on the PackVision Expo, stating, “Packaging is India’s one of the fastest growing sectors. This event is a testament to our commitment to fostering collaboration, driving innovation, and addressing the challenges faced by this industry”

The expo is expected to host over 150 exhibitors and attract 10,000-plus buyers from across India. One of the distinctive features of the event is the Packaging Congress, a networking and knowledge-sharing conference that runs parallel to the exhibition. With strong support from PIAI and various buyer associations from the Maharashtra region, the congress aims to offer more than just exhibits. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in discussions on emerging trends in packaging technologies.
