Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, said: “Workplace safety goes beyond compliance; it is about protecting people and ensuring business continuity. As workplaces evolve, organisations must be prepared for new risks, including those linked to rising temperatures. With the International Labour Organization highlighting that 2.41 billion workers globally are exposed to excessive heat each year, strengthening workplace safety and prevention has become increasingly important.”
A major focus of the 2026 edition will be the use of technology in workplace risk management. The AI Corner will showcase applications of artificial intelligence in occupational safety, while the Innovation Zone will feature new products and technologies addressing changing workplace safety requirements. The Start-Up Pavilion will provide emerging companies with a platform to present safety-related products and solutions.
The Machinery & Components section will showcase equipment and components aimed at supporting safer and more efficient industrial operations. The OSH Gurukul Conference will feature discussions involving safety professionals, industry experts and other stakeholders on occupational safety and health.
The exhibition will also include the VIP Lounge and Distinguished Buyers programme for business meetings and networking between solution providers and senior industry decision-makers. The Compliance Advantage will focus on regulations, standards and compliance requirements relevant to workplace safety.
India’s occupational safety and health market is projected to reach US$17.86 billion by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 11.1%. Growth is being driven by industrialisation, regulatory changes, technology adoption and increasing awareness of workplace safety.
The implementation of the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 is also expected to influence workplace safety practices. At the same time, the sector continues to face challenges including the large unorganised workforce, enforcement gaps and a shortage of skilled OSH professionals. OSH India 2026 will provide a platform for industry stakeholders to examine developments in workplace safety, including technology adoption, compliance, skills development, employee wellbeing and risk management.
