Oriental Rail Infrastructure Ltd has announced that its subsidiary, Oriental Foundry Private Ltd, has secured a ₹432.16 crore order from Indian Railways. The order is for the manufacture and supply of 1,200 BVCM-C wagons, as specified by the Railway Board.
In an exchange filing, Oriental Rail Infra stated, “We wish to inform you that Oriental Foundry Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, has secured an order worth Rs 4,32,15,97,524 (Four Hundred Thirty-Two Crores Fifteen Lakhs Ninety-Seven Thousand Five Hundred and Twenty-Four Only) for the manufacture and supply of 1,200 BVCM-C wagons.”
According to the contract, 90% of the payment will be made upon the issuance of an Inspection Certificate by the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO) and proof of dispatch or delivery. The remaining 10% will be paid after the goods are received, inspected, and accepted. The order is expected to be completed by March 31, 2026.
