Oriano Clean Energy recently announced that it has received a contract from Blueleaf Energy to develop 184 MWp of solar photovoltaic projects in Agar, Malwa, Madhya Pradesh. Blueleaf Energy operates as a renewable energy platform across Asia.
This contract, part of Blueleaf Energy’s Pachora Hybrid Power Project, brings Oriano’s total engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solar portfolio to over 1.5 GWp, with more than 1 GWp already commissioned and the remainder currently in progress. In the previous year, Oriano successfully built over 500 MWp of solar projects and aims to commission more than 1 GWp this year.
The company has previously developed various solar projects, including a 70 MWp solar farm in Maharashtra for First Solar, a 40 MWp project for ReNew Power in Karnataka, and a 50 MWp solar facility for Amplus Solar in Andhra Pradesh.
The new project will encompass the design, engineering, supply of PV plant equipment, installation, testing, commissioning, and civil construction work. Founded in 2015 by Yeshwant Rao and Lokendra Singh, Oriano has established itself as a significant EPC player after a cautious start, growing its portfolio from under 200 MW in 2019 to over 1 GWp today, primarily focused on the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment.
