The WAGNER Group GmbH has named Oliver Morfeld as Managing Director of its Australian subsidiary, WAGNER Fire Safety Pty Ltd., effective from October 14, 2024. Morfeld brings extensive management experience, having worked in the Asia-Pacific region for nearly 30 years. His market expertise is expected to play a crucial role in the growth and strategic direction of WAGNER’s Australian operations.
Originally from Germany, Morfeld is excited about the opportunity, stating, “I look forward to strengthening it’s presence in Australia and leveraging my background in automotive and safety technology.”
Steffen Springer, Managing Director of WAGNER Group GmbH, expressed confidence in Morfeld’s ability to drive international growth, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region, saying, “Mr Morfeld’s experience will be instrumental in expanding our fire protection solutions.” Michael Czoske, the current co-Managing Director, will continue working alongside Morfeld to further develop the company’s local market.
