Its compact design enhances vehicle stability, while a lifecycle exceeding 5,000 charge cycles ensures long-term reliability.

During the launch event, Olectra’s Chairman & Managing Director, Mr. K.V. Pradeep, expressed pride in the company’s journey from an initial order of 6 electric buses to achieving a milestone of 5,150 units. He emphasized Olectra’s focus on innovation and collaboration to transform transportation into a cleaner and more sustainable industry.

Olectra’s latest buses are designed to enhance passenger experience with features like digital instrument panels, EHPS, real-time tracking, and reverse park assist. Passenger-focused amenities include USB charging ports, air conditioning, and ergonomic cantilever seats. Advanced safety measures, such as ADAS, GPS tracking, CCTV surveillance, and inclusive designs like wheelchair ramps, ensure accessibility and security for all commuters.

Olectra’s fleet of over 2,200 electric buses has collectively covered 30 crore kilometers, reducing CO2 emissions by 2.7 lakh tons and saving 10 crore liters of diesel. With operations spanning 10 states and one union territory, Olectra has set new benchmarks in sustainability, including securing the world’s largest electric bus order for 5,150 units from MSRTC, Maharashtra.

Founded in 2000 and part of the MEIL Group, Olectra is a key player in India’s clean energy transition. By introducing innovative technologies and maintaining strict quality standards at its Hyderabad facility, the company is shaping a greener future, contributing to urban air quality improvement, and supporting the government’s clean mobility goals.
