In a significant stride towards bolstering the ‘Make in India’ initiative, Evertrade, a leader in global footwear manufacturing based in China, proudly announces the inauguration of its first Indian facility in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The grand opening ceremony was virtually done by the Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik, marking a new chapter in the industrial growth of the region and reinforcing the ties between Indian and international manufacturing sectors.
It was during the 2018 BRICS Summit, Prime Minister Narenda Modi met Niren Anand and Smita Anand, part of the Indian delegation at Xiamen, China. That meeting, with the support of Invest India, and Invest in Odisha made Evertrade’s decision to establish its state-of-the-art manufacturing unit in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This also reflects company’s commitment to the Indian government’s vision of making India a global manufacturing hub. The new facility is set to produce world-class sports and lifestyle footwear, leveraging Evertrade’s extensive experience as an ISO 9001 certified entity in designing, manufacturing, and exporting to global brands.
