NPTI (National Power Training Institute) and PTC India Ltd. have entered into a recent agreement, formalizing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to create a state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence (CoE) dedicated to Research & Development in the Energy Domain. This collaboration aims to advance sustainable development goals by focusing on cutting-edge initiatives.
The primary objective of this CoE is to drive innovation and knowledge dissemination within the power sector through comprehensive training and capacity-building initiatives. The collaboration between NPTI and PTC India Limited under this MoU will facilitate joint efforts in research, development, and knowledge exchange through the CoE. This partnership is aimed at addressing key challenges and promoting sustainable practices in the energy sector.
The MoU signing ceremony took place on 28th March 2024, at the Ministry of Power office in New Delhi. The agreement was signed by Dr Tripta Thakur, Director General of NPTI, and Koel Singhal, Senior Vice President (HR) of PTC India Ltd., on behalf of Dr Rajib K Mishra, CMD of PTC India Ltd. The event was graced by the presence of Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, who witnessed the signing ceremony.
