NOVELIC, part of SonaComstar and a specialist in millimeter-wave radar systems for the automotive sector, has been recognized with the “In-Cabin Innovation of the Year” award at the 2025 ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle International Awards held in Stuttgart, Germany. The recognition highlights the company’s in-house developed Automotive In-Cabin Monitoring (ACAM) system, which uses 60GHz radar technology for advanced, contact-free interior sensing.
The ACAM platform provides full cabin coverage and is designed to support critical safety features, including Child Presence Detection (CPD). This feature is anticipated to become a regulatory requirement under updated Euro NCAP protocols taking effect in 2026.
