Nitin Gadkari Launches Kirloskar Oil Engines’ New Ethanol and Isobutanol-Powered Engines

Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited (KOEL) introduced its groundbreaking Ethanol and Isobutanol engine technology, the first of its kind for Genset applications, tested by ARAI. The launch, led by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, highlighted the government’s focus on alternative fuel solutions as part of India’s push toward energy independence and environmental sustainability.

The unveiling of the engines coincided with World Biofuel Day, underscoring KOEL’s commitment to supporting India’s energy diversification and accelerating the shift to a low-carbon economy. The company’s new engines further cement its leadership in clean energy solutions by embracing alternative fuels like Ethanol and Isobutanol.
