Nissan Motor India has announced that its Magnite SUV has reached a significant export milestone of 50,000 units since its launch. Additionally, the model is now fully compatible with E20 fuel across all powertrain options. In February 2025, the company reported total wholesale dispatches of 8,567 units, with exports contributing 6,239 units, marking a 97 percent year-on-year increase compared to February 2024.
The Magnite’s naturally aspirated BR10 engine is now E20 compliant, joining the turbocharged HR10 petrol engine, which became E20-compatible in August 2024. This development aligns with Nissan’s sustainability goals and its commitment to meeting evolving environmental standards.
In January 2025, Nissan began exporting the Left-Hand Drive (LHD) version of the Magnite, shipping about 2,900 units to Latin American markets via Chennai’s Kamarajar Port. By the end of February, the company had exported over 10,000 LHD Magnites to regions including Latin America, the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia Pacific.
SaurabhVatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, remarked, “The Magnite continues to make a strong impact both in India and internationally. This milestone reflects the growing trust in Nissan’s ability to deliver innovative, high-quality vehicles.”
The Magnite is now available in over 65 countries in both Right-Hand Drive and Left-Hand Drive versions. This achievement underscores Nissan’s global strategy and enhances India’s role as a key manufacturing and export hub for the brand.
