Nexteer Automotive recently hosted its Global Supplier Conference in Changshu, Jiangsu Province, China, with approximately 200 suppliers and government officials in attendance. The event focused on boosting agility, resilience, and sustainability across the supply chain.
Aligned with Nexteer’s participation in Auto Shanghai 2025, the conference highlighted the company’s recent expansion in Changshu, aimed at supporting ongoing growth alongside top Chinese original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Key topics included accelerating market innovation, improving efficiency in cost and time, and maintaining safety-critical quality as a fundamental part of Nexteer’s operations.

The conference offered supplier partners the opportunity to engage in strategic discussions, focusing on industry megatrends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape. It took place at Nexteer’s Changshu facility, coinciding with the Auto Shanghai 2025 event.
Nexteer’s new state-of-the-art facility in Changshu, which opened in January 2025, strengthens the company’s capacity to meet increasing demand from Chinese OEMs. It also supports China’s New Quality Productive Forces initiative, which promotes high-end, intelligent, and sustainable manufacturing practices. This expansion underscores Nexteer’s commitment to advancing mobility solutions while aligning with local economic and technological development goals.
Auto Shanghai serves as a key platform for suppliers to gain insights into emerging industry trends, helping them anticipate shifts in the market, adapt to new technologies, and address evolving customer demands both regionally and globally.
Currently, Nexteer is showcasing its latest innovations at Auto Shanghai under the theme “Pioneering Motion Control Globally at China Speed – Vision, Velocity, and Value.” The company’s exhibition is located in Hall 1.2H at the National Convention and Exhibition Center, running from April 23 to May 2, 2025.
