TVS Motor Company (TVSM), a prominent global player in the two and three-wheeler segment, has unveiled the all-new TVS Apache RR 310—its flagship model in the Super Premium Sports Motorcycle category. This latest version is designed to elevate the riding experience and enhance performance, setting a new benchmark in the premium sports motorcycle segment.

Drawing inspiration from TVS Racing’s illustrious legacy, which spans over four decades, the Apache RR 310 is a machine built for champions. It is crafted from the same engineering expertise that broke records at the prestigious Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC), achieving an impressive best lap time of 1.49.742 seconds and a top speed of 215.9 km/h.

The new model showcases a significant 11% increase in overall performance, thanks to advanced technologies such as the Bi-directional QuickShifter, RT-DSC (Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Cruise Control, and a newly designed Aerodynamic Winglet. Together, these innovations deliver an unmatched combination of agility, aerodynamic efficiency, and peak performance.

Vimal Sumbly, Head of Business for Premium at TVS Motor Company, expressed his excitement about this major upgrade. “This launch is a special moment for us. The new TVS Apache RR 310, powered by our rich racing heritage and the technical advancements from ARRC motorcycles, redefines what’s possible in the super-premium sport motorcycle arena.

Since its initial release in 2017, the TVS Apache RR 310 has established itself as a true icon, embodying our racing DNA and the strength of TVS Motor’s research and development capabilities,” said Sumbly. The 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 comes in two distinct variants, alongside three Built-To-Order (BTO) customization options, providing riders with a highly personalized experience.

The motorcycle boasts a fully faired, supersport design and race-focused ergonomics to deliver unparalleled control and handling. Additionally, riders can enjoy four distinct riding modes—Track, Sport, Urban, and Rain—catering to different road conditions and driving preferences. The heart of the Apache RR 310 is a reverse-inclined DOHC engine, which now generates 38 PS at 9800 rpm and a peak torque of 29Nm at 7900 rpm.

With an upgraded air intake system and lightweight aluminum forged piston, the engine revs more freely, providing enhanced power and performance. The Bi-directional QuickShifter ensures seamless gear shifts, adding to the smoothness and precision of the ride. Another standout feature is the aerodynamic winglets, engineered to generate 3 kg of downforce, ensuring that the front tire remains firmly planted on the road, even at high speeds.

This improved downforce leads to superior stability and control, especially during fast corners or high-speed sprints. Furthermore, the new Apache RR 310 is equipped with advanced technologies such as Cruise Control, a transparent clutch cover, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. The 5-inch vertical TFT race computer also comes with enhanced multiway connectivity, integrating seamlessly with the TVS Connect App to provide real-time updates on critical information.

TVS has also introduced Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control (RT-DSC) with a first-in-segment 6D IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), offering a comprehensive safety package that includes Cornering ABS, Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Slope Dependent Control, and Rear Lift-off Control. For the first time in this segment, the cruise control system is integrated with the IMU to offer a groundbreaking Cornering Cruise Control feature, which adjusts the motorcycle’s cruising speed based on lean angles, allowing riders to enjoy longer and more comfortable journeys.

The “Built To Order” (BTO) platform, introduced by TVS in 2021, allows customers to tailor their Apache RR 310 according to their personal preferences. With the latest iteration, TVS offers two BTO kits—Dynamic and Dynamic Pro—along with an option to select a Race Replica color. Riders can further personalize their motorcycles by adding their preferred race number to the design.

The Dynamic Kit, priced at Rs 18,000, includes fully adjustable suspension with preload, compression, and rebound damping adjustments on the front, along with preload and rebound damping adjustments on the rear monoshock, providing flexibility for various riding conditions. The kit also includes a Tire Pressure Monitoring System, ensuring optimal performance by tracking real-time tire pressure.

Additionally, the brass-coated drive chain not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the bike but also increases the chain’s durability by preventing rust. For those seeking an extra layer of safety and control, the Dynamic Pro Kit, available for Rs 16,000, introduces the Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control system, adding a high-performance safety dimension to the riding experience.

The Apache RR 310 is available in two striking colors: the newly introduced Bomber Grey and the iconic Racing Red, which now features an updated livery. Customers opting for BTO can further enhance their motorcycle’s aesthetics by choosing the Race Replica color for an additional Rs 7,000.

As for pricing, the different variants of the all-new TVS Apache RR 310 are as follows: The Racing Red variant without the QuickShifter is priced at Rs 2,75,000, while the version equipped with the QuickShifter costs Rs 2,92,000. The Bomber Grey variant is offered at Rs 2,97,000. BTO customizations come at varying prices depending on the selected options.
