New Era of Youth Collaboration: CII-Young Indians Debuts in Singapore

In a significant event celebrating international youth collaboration, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) – Young Indians (Yi) inaugurated its first international chapter in Singapore. The occasion was graced by Mr Alvin Tan, Minister of State for the Ministry of Culture, Community & Youth and Ministry of Trade & Industry, Singapore, and Ms Pooja Tillu, Indian Deputy High Commissioner to Singapore.

The launch of Yi’s Singapore chapter marks the beginning of a new era in global youth engagement, bringing together young people from India and Singapore. This event is even more special as it aligns with the 60th anniversary of India-Singapore diplomatic relations, highlighting the strong bond and shared goals between the two nations.

Leading this initiative is Vishal Agarwala, National Chairman for CII-Young Indians. Agarwala, who is also the Founder Chairman of CII-Yi Jharkhand Chapter, has been involved in many projects focused on Nation Building, Thought Leadership, and Youth Leadership. His leadership and dedication to empowering young people have been key in making this launch possible. He envisions a platform where young leaders from various backgrounds come together, collaborate, and make meaningful changes.

The Singapore chapter will be led by two outstanding leaders: Mr. Darius Forbes, Chair of Yi-Singapore, and Mr. Mohamed Irshad, Co-Chair of Yi-Singapore. Their commitment and passion for youth development are expected to drive innovation, inclusivity, and positive change.
