National Engineering Industries Ltd (NEI), the company behind NBC Bearings and part of the CKA Birla Group, has escalated its campaign against counterfeit products with large-scale enforcement actions in Delhi and Bengaluru. Working alongside law-enforcement agencies and authorised representatives, the company targeted key counterfeit networks, resulting in the seizure of fake NBC-branded products valued at over INR 2 crore.
Following formal complaints filed through an authorised third party, the DIU North District Police (PS Kashmere Gate) conducted focused raids across well-known counterfeit markets in Delhi, including GaliRajan Kalan and Kashmere Gate. The operation led to the recovery of thousands of imitation bearings, along with empty packaging materials, printing dies, and a laser-marking machine used to falsify product codes.
The action extended to Bengaluru’s JC Road market, where units involved in the manufacturing and distribution of duplicate NBC products were also identified and raided. High-precision marking and packaging equipment found on site highlighted the organised scale of the illegal operations. NBC’s technical experts and authorised partners supported the enforcement teams by confirming and cataloguing counterfeit items.

These coordinated actions have resulted in the disruption of multiple counterfeit supply chains at the production level. NBC Bearings has reaffirmed its plan to continue active enforcement and industry collaboration to prevent the circulation of fake products. The company urges customers to purchase only from authorised dealers and use the NBC Connect App—available on major app stores—to instantly verify product authenticity free of cost.
