October 8 marked a pivotal moment for the Indian Machine Tools Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) as it ventures into rural India with its groundbreaking initiative, MTX Connect, in Kolhapur. Hosted at the Pavilion Hotel over two days, October 8th and 9th, the event promises to set new benchmarks for the manufacturing sector.
Reflecting IMTMA’s collective vision for innovation and progress, MTX Connect has been brought to the forefront. The newly appointed President of IMTMA, Rajendra Rajamane, had the honour of inaugurating this pioneering initiative. This B2B exhibition, emphasising Machine Tools, Digital Manufacturing, Laser Technologies, Tooling, and Metrology, aims to bridge brands with untapped markets, especially in tier II, and III cities around Kolhapur.

Sharing his thoughts with Machine Maker, Mr. Rajamane commented on the immense regional support, “The enthusiastic response from industry associations in and around Kolhapur has been heartening. With participation from over 45 companies, I am buoyant about MTX Connect’s impact, marking a special note for me.”
MTX Connect Kolhapur is more than an exhibition. It provides a fertile platform for businesses to enhance product reach, elevate brand awareness, and establish new ties with consumers and channel partners. The event will also curate immersive factory tours, highlighting the evolving demand for machine tools.
With an array of tech talks and workshops, these two days are poised to be a nexus of knowledge-sharing and collaborative innovation. MTX Connect embodies the spirited future of India’s metalworking domain and the collective ethos propelling it forward.

The Indian Machine Tools Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) is India’s premier representative of the machine tool industry. With an unwavering commitment to technological evolution and innovation, IMTMA consistently strives to enhance the industry’s global standing.
