MTAR Technologies Limited has received an order worth ₹15.4 crore from the Defence Research & Development Laboratory (DRDL) to produce full-scale and sub-scale combustors, key components for air-breathing engine technology. This order supports the development of advanced defence programs aimed at future-generation engines.
The Hyderabad-based company is expected to complete the order by September 2025. MTAR Technologies has over 40 years of experience in clean energy, space, and defence sectors and holds strategic partnerships with major Indian organizations and global OEMs.
MTAR operates seven manufacturing facilities, including an export-oriented unit in Hyderabad, bolstering its position in India’s defence manufacturing industry. The latest order reinforces the company’s contribution to advancing India’s defence technology.
Shares of the company closed at ₹1,746, gaining ₹6.10 or 0.35% on the NSE today. The company is an Indian precision engineering company known for its expertise in manufacturing critical and complex components for various high-tech sectors, including aerospace, defense, nuclear, and clean energy.
