Motul Launches Sehat Ki Samriddhi for Auto Mechanics

Motul India, has launched the Motul Sehat Ki Samriddhi initiative. This program aims to improve healthcare access for auto mechanics, their families, and community members. The first health camps will be held in Varanasi, Lucknow, and Ludhiana on June 25, 2024, and will expand to 20 cities across India. The initiative, in partnership with Smile Foundation, will run from June 2024 to March 2025.

Motul’s initiative will provide essential healthcare services to communities with limited medical access. Over the next 9 months, about 16,000 people will benefit from 80 health camps. These camps will help reduce medical expenses and improve access to healthcare.

Nagendra Pai, CEO of Motul India & South Asia, said, “With Sehat ki Samriddhi, we aim to support the well-being of auto mechanics and their families. We hope to make a big impact on their access to healthcare, starting in Varanasi, Lucknow, and Ludhiana. With Smile Foundation’s help, we want to promote healthy living in these communities.”

Key activities include hiring medical staff, community mobilization with local dealers, organizing health camps, providing referral services, distributing first aid kits, and regular monitoring to ensure the project’s success.
