Murugappa Group’s Montra Electric has successfully delivered its 5,000th three-wheeler passenger auto (L5M category) just a year after entering the fast-growing electric three-wheeler market. Within 12 months, Montra Electric reached this milestone, supplying its Super Autos across 74 markets in 17 states.

The Montra Electric Super Auto stands out in the market with its distinct design, spacious interior, and an impressive ARAI-certified range of 203 km. The vehicle also features industry-first multi-drive modes for enhanced efficiency and a Park Assist Mode for easy maneuvering in city traffic.
In November 2023, the Montra Super Auto received the prestigious International Red Dot Design Award in the ‘Design Concept’ category, specifically for ‘Innovative Last Mile Mobility Electric Passenger Vehicle.’ The Super Auto boasts a top speed of 55 km/h, accelerates from 0-20 km/h in 4 seconds, and has a seating capacity for four, including the driver. It delivers peak power of 10 kW and torque of 60 Nm, and is available in two variants: ePV and ePV 2.0. Montra Electric is now preparing to expand into the three-wheeler goods segment, further diversifying its offerings in the electric vehicle market.
