The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) offers subsidies for the installation of standalone solar pumps and the solarization of agricultural pumps under the PM-KUSUM scheme.
This scheme is being implemented by designated departments of the state governments, whose details can be found at www.mnre.gov.in. Beneficiaries have to deposit their shares with the state government departments.
Since the launch of the PM-KUSUM scheme, some websites have claimed to be the registration portal for the scheme. These websites have been scamming the general public by collecting their money and information through these fake registration portals. MNRE had earlier issued notices advising refrain from depositing the registration fee on any such website to avoid any loss to the public. Also, be cautious about sharing information on these sites.

As soon as MNRE receives information about such sites, action is taken. It has recently been noticed that some new websites (such as https://www.kisankusumyojana-reg.org/ and http://kusumyojanaonline.com/ ) claim to be registration portals for PM-KUSUM. WhatsApp and other means are also being used to mislead potential beneficiaries and collect money from them.
All potential beneficiaries and the general public are, therefore, advised to avoid depositing money or information on such fraudulent websites. It is also recommended not to click on any unverified or suspicious link that claims to be a PM-KUSUM registration portal.
You can find details on the eligibility requirements and the implementation process on the MNRE website http://www.mnre.gov.in, you can also call their toll free number 1800-180-3333 for more information.
