Raven Aerial Technologies Pvt Ltd is organizing a competition on the 14th October 2018 in different schools in collaboration with ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) scientists to give tribute to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. To celebrate his achievements in missile research the competition will include designing, building and launching a missile by the students from different schools.
The participants will be provided with equipment and technology by Raven. The company is also in the process of facilitating such guidance in the field of aero models to students by setting up Ravens connected Aeroclub in schools.
Last year, more than 50 students participated in the completion from in and around Chennai and Vellore. Out of all participants, there was an active participation mostly from 8th and 9th standards students.
The competition is a state level competition where 20 students are shortlisted out of 100 from every zone. The shortlisted 20 students qualify to the state level. Raven is India’s fastest growing company in the field of Aero Modelling Education Training. The company was started by Vasanth Kumar R in 2014.
Raven has taken this initiative in order to give a platform to the students to come up with their innovation.
