The international trade exhibitions will now take place entirely online from October 13 to 16, 2021, with the physical event rescheduled for June 22 to 25, 2022, at MITEC Kuala Lumpur. Metaltech 2021 is fully virtual, networking with buyers from various sectors is expected to be easier.
METALTECH & AUTOMEX, organised by Informa Markets, announced today that the two global metalworking and automation trade shows, which will take place from October 13 to 16, 2021, will be entirely virtual. The physical event will now be held at MITEC Kuala Lumpur from June 22 to June 25, 2022. The four-day virtual event will be held on an upgraded platform with essential features such as an AI-powered matchmaking system for buyers and sellers, top-notch lecture sessions from industry professionals, and a virtual exhibition for exhibitors and visitors to conduct business.
“By focusing on the virtual marketplace this year, we are able to provide an opportunity for industry players to gather during this difficult time. The debut of the METALTECH & AUTOMEX virtual exhibitions last year demonstrated that the initiatives of having a virtual exhibition and online meetings do indeed receive a positive response from the manufacturing community and successfully generate new business opportunities between exhibitors and buyers. Buyers will get a comprehensive overview of the world’s largest showcase of machine tools, metalworking, and automation technology, with two virtual exhibition sections covering more than 50 product categories and the introduction of the country pavilion, which will host a number of international brands. Visitors may easily visit and peruse the exhibitor’s offerings thanks to the platform’s customizable exhibition booths and structures.
Furthermore, the virtual exhibition features an interactive online business matching platform where buyers may engage in meaningful real-time conversation and information sharing with all exhibitors via a one-on-one session in a live chatroom. METALTECH & AUTOMEX Virtual Exhibition is expected to attract over 2,000 virtual visitors, as well as more than 100 participating firms.
